Felix is talking JJ through the plan for tomorrow morning; they only have twenty minutes to get in and out with the stolen goods. If they're interrupted, they simply jump in the van and drive off at a normal speed, without panicking.

FELIX: Panicking means prison.

Felix admits he's lost the map of where everything is located, so he's making another one.

FELIX: Are you sure you can do this?
JJ: Yeah, absolutely.
FELIX: Cos this is not work experience, mate. This is the real deal.
JJ: I won't let you down.

JJ gets a text from Cara, offering to give him a driving lesson. Felix says he should go home and take her up on it, to create the appearance that everything's normal. JJ asks what happened to Felix's map. Uncertainly, Felix says it's probably in a bin somewhere. But in fact...

No 28
The map is still wedged inside the book at that Felix gave Holly, which we see in close- up at the Kennedys' house as Melanie tells Karl she's heading to see Krista to give her some Percy Pig sweets! But she can't find her keys anywhere.

KARL (grouchily): Perhaps if you cleaned up around here a little you'd have more luck finding things.

Karl heads off to work, and Melanie moans to Holly, wondering how long Karl will be giving her the cold shoulder for.

HOLLY: Another 36 hours?
MELANIE: You really think so?
HOLLY: No. I thought a specific time frame might make you feel better. But it'll end.

Melanie glances around the room and realises that she has been pretty messy.

MELANIE: No wonder your father hates me.
HOLLY: He does not hate you.

Melanie finds her keys, but then notices a newspaper on the table, opened on the classified pages, with various one- bedroom rental properties circled. She concludes that Karl has left it here as a hint to her that she needs to move out...

Lassiter's Hotel
Paul comes into the sauna area. He's on the phone to somebody, telling them he'd like something 'ready as soon as possible... but with complete discretion'. After ending the call, he has a flashback to finding Krista collapsed in here and helping her out, and then another flashback to her distress in the hospital in the wake of the miscarriage. Back in the present, Paul looks determined to find out the truth...

Community Centre
Felix and JJ are heading towards the centre, JJ trying his best to act normal and not to panic, when they encounter Wendy and Andrew coming from the other direction. Andrew is worrying that Sadie won't even look at him after he caught her in the throes of passion with Byron. Wendy suggests they do something as a family that doesn't involve eye contact, like watching TV.

ANDREW: As long as it's not a period drama.

As they greet Felix and JJ, Andrew explains to them that Slade's bail has been refused, so he won't be getting out any time soon. JJ feigns pleasure at this news, and promises to pass it on to Cara. JJ heads off home, doing his best impersonation of relief. Meanwhile, Wendy tells Felix it's great that he and JJ can hang out again.

FELIX: What are you guys doing tonight?
ANDREW: Other than awkwardly tiptoeing around our daughter?
FELIX: I think I might cook dinner - say thanks for everything.
ANDREW: Yeah, great. But can we do it when things are a bit better with Sadie?
FELIX (shifty): ... Umm, it's kind of gotta be tonight.

Lassiter's Hotel
Paul catches up with Chelsea at reception, and asks her if there's any news on the sauna investigation. She tells him that Cara's talking to the software company today, and that she's tried to get hold of Penny Shrewster but had no luck so far.

PAUL: Okay, it's time to go to the police.
CHELSEA: But we still don't have anything concrete to give them.
PAUL: Oh, well maybe we should bring in a workplace investigator, then.
CHELSEA (rattled): Why?
PAUL: Well, it might help to have somebody specifically dedicated to the case.
CHELSEA: Well, you've already got somebody. I'll ask Penny's work colleagues to see if I can nail her down. Paul, an investigator won't go the extra mile for you. I will.

Paul seems frustrated by this, but reluctantly agrees to Chelsea's plan of action. Chelsea remarks that he seems wound up, and seductively offers to 'help in some way'. But Paul makes an excuse, and starts walking away.

PAUL: Just find out who's responsible for what happened.

No 32
Krista is on the patio, on the phone organising a memorial for baby Hope. She finishes up just as Melanie arrives, and they share a long, emotional hug. Melanie presents Krista with the bumper- sized bag of Percy Pig sweets she's bought her, 'from a British food store that caters for hungry expats'.

MELANIE: These used to make you feel better.

Krista asks how Mel is; she says Karl's dropping hints that he wants her to move out. Krista says that if Mel wants to stay at No 28, she should do something to remind Karl what he'd be missing...

Ramsay Street
JJ and Cara arrive home after his driving lesson. Cara's arm is still a little sore after her epic citizen's arrest of Slade. JJ still can't believe she did it.

CARA: Yeah, well, the only one who messes with you is me.

She play- acts at punching him, then asks him to bring in the bin. Felix is passing with his ingredients for the family meal tonight, and stops to chat to Cara while JJ is out of earshot.

CARA: He's been a bit weird this morning. Everything alright?
FELIX: Has he said anything?
CARA: No, it's just a sense. Thought you might know something.
FELIX: If my mum'd just tackled a criminal, I'd be weird around her as well.
CARA: Well, any parent would've done it. Someone hurts your kid, then...

Felix looks thoughtful on hearing this. JJ has returned, and looks uncomfortable to see them talking. Cara then gets a phone call, so heads off. Felix reports to JJ what Cara said about him acting weird.

JJ: I acted normal, like you said.
FELIX: ... Listen, I don't need you on the job anymore.
JJ: I didn't say anything, I swear.
FELIX: Yeah, I know. I just found someone else.
JJ: I can still help. Three people will be even quicker.
FELIX: It's another thing that can go wrong. Sorry, mate. You're out.

JJ looks confused and disappointed as Felix walks away.

No 28
Melanie is engaged in a cleaning spree when Karl comes home. She enthusiastically tells a sceptical Karl how much she loves cleaning!

MELANIE: If I were a princess, there would be animated birds tweeting in my hair, it makes me that happy.

She knocks Holly's book onto the floor while cleaning, then picks it up again.

KARL: You might want to slow down.
MELANIE: Not until every surface in this place can be eaten off. Dinner tonight will be served from the toilet bowl!

Karl looks unimpressed! Mel goes on to offer to do Karl's laundry - 'undies, everything' - but he's unresponsive, and heads off to the bedroom to phone Susan. But he slips on the floor that Melanie's just mopped, worsening his mood even further. He glowers at her as he goes out, leaving Melanie looking crestfallen.

No 32
Krista is sadly putting keepsakes that remind her of baby Hope into the box that Haz bought for her, when Paul arrives with a hotel room service trolley, bearing lunch and a few other goodies, so the sharehouse gang don't have to cook for a while.

KRISTA (smiling): I don't know what to say.

Leo comes in, and seems impressed with Paul's efforts. Paul prepares to make his exit, but Leo tells him he doesn't need to run off, and Krista suggests he stay and join them to eat. Paul's keen to get back to the hotel, however, to continue his investigation into the sauna incident. Leo tells him he's welcome to stay next time, and walks him out. In the hallway...

PAUL: I don't suppose you'd consider moving back to the penthouse? Sorry, too soon?
LEO: Uh... no, no, I, uh... yeah, I've actually been thinking about it. I mean, Abigail misses you a lot.
PAUL: Oh, mate, I miss you both terribly.
LEO: It would be nice to move back home.
PAUL: Yeah? You say the word, and I'll make the arrangements, okay?

Ramsay Street
Paul looks happy about the thawing relations with Leo as he gets back into his car. Meanwhile, Felix is on the phone to Jools, discussing their plan to flee to the Philippines. In spite of what he told JJ, Felix tells Jools that it's too late to find a partner in crime to help him with the robbery tomorrow - he'll have to 'fly solo'.

FELIX: No, I'm not gonna ask JJ to do it. I've stuffed up his life enough already... Yeah, kid's better off without me.

No 28
Holly is trying her best to help Melanie impress Karl, by explaining how Mel's ironed all her clothes for her, and suggests Karl takes advantage of her services too.

KARL: I haven't seen this much spring cleaning since the kids were procrastinating at uni.
MELANIE (exaggerated laugh): You are *so* funny, Karl!

But even Mel's attempts at flattery leave Karl fairly unmoved; and he's even less impressed when Melanie says she's about to reorganise his record collection so it's alphabetical.

KARL: I have a system!
HOLLY: You had the Skyhooks next to Neil Diamond and Evita. How is that a system?
KARL: Okay, it's autobiographical. These are the albums that Susan and I were listening to when your siblings were... oh. Yeah, never mind.
HOLLY: When they were what?
KARL: Doesn't matter.
HOLLY (shocked): Conceived?
KARL: Yeah. If it makes you feel any better, your album isn't here.
HOLLY: No, that does not make me feel better!

Melanie is looking at Karl's Right Prescription album, and he gets touchy about it and grabs it off her - at which point the record falls out and gets scratched on the floor. Karl is annoyed.

KARL: Please, leave my things alone.

Melanie apologises and bursts into tears, before rushing out of the house. Holly tells Karl that Mel was just trying to help, but he's very irritated. At this point, Holly notices that her book has fallen to the floor along with the records - and Felix's map has fallen out of it. Holly and Karl gaze at it curiously...

Lassiter's Hotel
Paul comes into the sauna area and finds Chelsea and Cara already there. Cara thinks the problem is fixed, but says the software company has no idea what went wrong. Paul apologises to Cara for his abruptness the other day, admitting he was a bit stressed about the situation. Cara says that's cool, and leaves them to it.

Chelsea reports to Paul that Penny Shrewster has gone overseas, according to her friends. Paul says they can deal with her when she gets back, and Chelsea notices he's in a better mood than before.

PAUL: That might be because Leo is thinking about moving back in.
CHELSEA (worried): Are you sure? I don't want you to get your hopes up, babe.
PAUL: No, I just spoke to him. I raised it, and he said, yeah, he'd think about it.

Chelsea activates seduction mode again, and suggests she and Paul celebrate the good news by getting intimate. Paul doesn't seem averse, until his phone rings. It's Terese, and Chelsea looks peeved as he leaves the room to take the call.

Wendy and Andrew seem to have enjoyed the dinner that Felix has cooked, and Wendy says they'll have to do it again with Sadie once she's calmed down.

FELIX: Hey, thanks again for having me. And putting up with all my stuff.
ANDREW: No worries, mate.
WENDY: No, it's a pleasure.
FELIX: It's, uh... it's a great place, and a good street. I appreciate it.

Perhaps noticing Felix is being unusually sentimental, Andrew asks him if everything is alright, and Wendy wonders if he and Jools have split up.

FELIX: No... I just wish home was more like this, growing up.
WENDY: ... Well, this is your home now, yeah?
ANDREW: And you are welcome to stay on as long as you like.

Felix smiles, but looks conflicted as he turns away.

No 28
Karl is washing up, while Holly gazes at Felix's map. It includes a notation for the location at the construction site of 'CCW', and Holly is doing a web search to find out what this means.

KARL: You know, you'd be a lot more productive if you gave me a hand with the dishes.
HOLLY: I'm, uh, busy on the sibling group chat. Thought I'd unleash chaos by telling everyone about your albums. Billy's convinced he's got everyone's figured out.

But in fact, she's brought up a definition of 'CCW' - conductive copper wiring. Looking curious, she takes the map and book and excuses herself.

HOLLY: I'm gonna go to my room - deal with the fact that my conception doesn't have a soundtrack.

Melanie has come home, meanwhile, and tells Karl that she's bought him another Right Prescription LP.

MELANIE: I found it at the op shop. There were heaps. I mean... hardly any.
KARL (underwhelmed): Yeah... you shouldn't have.
MELANIE: It's fine... I'll leave as soon as I can.
KARL: What are you talking about?
MELANIE: The rentals that you circled in the newspaper that you left for me to find?
KARL: ... I brought that newspaper home from work, to do the crossword. If there were rentals circled in there, it wasn't me. Why would you think I wanted you to leave?
MELANIE: Maybe the married man that I hooked up with, and then the serve you gave me about that? Also, the fact that you have been entirely uninterested in anything other than surface- level conversation since you got back.
KARL: Okay. I wasn't thrilled about what happened. That does not mean I want you to leave. Melanie - you're family. And so is Toadie. Now, you can get annoyed with family, but you don't give up on them.
MELANIE: Thank you.
KARL: It's a pleasure.

Penthouse
Chelsea has taken a pregnancy test, which appears to be negative, but hides it as Paul comes in. Paul is on the phone to a staff member to arrange for Leo and Abigail's rooms to be cleaned, in case Leo does decide to come back, and also to arrange a hotel room for Terese, who is getting back from Adelaide tomorrow. Chelsea looks peeved.

CHELSEA: How is Terese?
PAUL: Uh, yeah, we're catching up once she gets back. I'll know more then.
CHELSEA: Well, at least I've got you to myself now.

But Paul says he was thinking of swinging by Krista's place. Chelsea offers to come with him, but he says he's 'keeping it family at this stage'. Chelsea yet again attempts to seduce Paul, and he begins to look suspicious.

PAUL: You've tried this a few times today. I don't lack confidence, but I know I'm not *that* irresistible. So, come on - what's going on, Chelsea?
CHELSEA: ... I just feel like everything's changing. And it's wonderful about your family, babe. But I... I do worry about the future.
PAUL: What are you saying?
CHELSEA: Paul Robinson... will you marry me?

Paul looks somewhere between surprised and uncomfortable!

Eirini Rising construction site
Early the following morning, Felix watches from behind a tree as the security guard at the construction site leaves at the end of his night shift. No sooner has he driven away, than JJ turns up.

FELIX: What are you doing here?!
JJ: Being your wingman.
FELIX: Go home.
JJ: No, you can't do this on your own.
FELIX: I've got someone.
JJ: I know you're lying, cos you saw me with Mum.
FELIX: Get out of here, JJ.
JJ: You can either spend the next 20 minutes arguing and then the new security guard arrives, or you can just let me help.
FELIX: ... Get the van.

Shortly afterwards, Felix and JJ load stolen power tools into the van...

Ramsay Street
Holly apologises to Andrew for the early- morning text asking him to meet. She says she's been up all night thinking, but it would take too long to explain in an email.

HOLLY: Is Felix at home?
ANDREW: Uh, no. I think he went for a run.
HOLLY: I found this inside a book that he gave me.

Holly shows Andrew the map, and says he must have left it in the book by accident. She shows him the notations, which indicate locations and quantities of building supplies.

ANDREW: So?
HOLLY: The supplies are copper wiring and copper piping, which the internet tells me are some of the most valuable and stealable items on a work site. Is that true?
ANDREW: ... Yeah. Yeah.
HOLLY: Alright. Well, there'd also be generators and power tools. And this says '6.15am' which is kind of now, which is why I came over. I should've come earlier; I just wanted to avoid having to say this because I could be wrong. But if I'm right... (...) I think this map is part of a plan to rob the site, which could be happening right now.

Eirini Rising construction site
JJ and Felix finish loading up the van with stolen goods, pleased that they're ahead of schedule.

FELIX: Good work.
JJ: Told you I could help.

But they hear a car engine, and worried it's the next security guard arriving early, Felix goes to scope out the adjacent road. From a vantage point behind a skip, he's horrified to see Andrew getting out of his car. He signals to JJ, who gets in the van and starts up the engine. At which point Andrew rushes over, hoping to stop the robbery - but JJ reverses into some scaffolding, which then falls on top of Andrew!

JJ exits the van, and he and Felix rush over to see Andrew seemingly unconscious underneath the scaffolding. They both look worried.
