Number 24
Aaron, David and Leo have arrived at Number 24 to see Jane and Chloe. They're all wondering what's happened to Nicolette. David rings Erinsborough Hospital but Nicolette's not there.

LEO: I'll call some hotels.
DAVID: No, Aaron can do that.

Chloe says she'll text her again, telling her that nothing happened with Leo, hoping that the truth might change things. Aaron tries to reassure David to no avail.

Number 32
David is making some calls to try and locate Nicolette. As he hangs up the phone, he asks Aaron how he got on contacting the hotels, but he's found nothing. David continues to worry, especially now Nicolette's 8 months gone.

DAVID: I'm worried about her mental health. To disappear like this...
AARON: I know, she's obviously in a lot of pain...which is partly our fault.

The boys accept that Nicolette won't be home tonight, but Aaron's sure that when Nic knows the truth about Leo and Chloe, she might calm down. David doesn't think she'll believe them though.

DAVID: She's upset about more than that. I don't know how we even start to make things right.
AARON: We start by finding her, but there's nothing more we can do tonight.

David looks worried.

Number 22
Leo is talking to Paul and Terese about Nicolette. He's worried that David hates him, but Paul thinks that Nicolette's entirely to blame for this, calling her behaviour selfish.

TERESE: Still, we should be mindful of what she's been through before we start pointing the finger. I mean, obviously, she's felt like today she hasn't been able to turn to anyone.
PAUL: Yeah, well you know what, whatever happened, whoever hurt her feelings, she can't just run off while she's pregnant with David and Aaron's baby.

The Waterhole
Amy and Ned have just been on a date to a Japanese bath house; a date which she has enjoyed a lot, especially the steam room.

AMY: Well, you gotta love a date that makes you all steamy and leaves you gasping for air.
NED: So, can I chalk this up as a win?
AMY: Definitely. And you know, I'd be up for a second one? If you named a time and place.
NED: I'll see what I can come up with.

Levi arrives, saying he hopes he isn't interrupting anything.

NED: We were just about to call it a night. I always like to quit while I'm ahead.

After Ned leaves, Levi asks if the date sucked, but Amy's complimentary, saying Ned set the bar pretty high. She says she believes he can match it though.

LEVI: I hope you're ready to get nice and wet with a wild animal, baby.

Amy laughs and he leaves, saying he'll see her tomorrow.

Number 32
The next day, Aaron walks in the kitchen to find David still sitting on the sofa; he hasn't been to bed. Aaron says he didn't get much sleep either. Leo walks in, offering to make some coffee.

DAVID: I'll do it.
LEO: Are you really still upset with me David? I told you I didn't go there with Chloe.
DAVID: You still did enough to blow up all of our lives.
LEO: This is the last thing I wanted.
DAVID: And yet here we are.

Leo looks upset, as Jane and Chloe arrive. Chloe tells them that Nic has taken some money from her bedside draw that she keeps for emergencies. They speculate about Nic's behaviour; Aaron saying that she's taken the money so her cards can't trace her whereabouts. David thinks they should contact the police, but Aaron says they can't report her as missing as she chose to leave.

DAVID: She's missing, she's vulnerable, and she's in a really bad emotional state.
JANE: David's right, just in case.

They all look worried.

Police Station
Aaron and David are talking to Levi about Nicolette.

LEVI: Do you guys have any reasons to be worried about her safety?
DAVID: She's heavily pregnant and she had a nasty fall a few weeks ago.
LEVI: No, but like right now. Any emergencies, any sign that someone forced her to leave, anything?
AARON: I mean, no, there's nothing like that.
LEVI: Look, I'm sorry guys. From a police point of view, she's a capable adult. She just needed some space and took the night off.

David says they're worried about Nic's physical and emotional wellbeing; but the only thing Levi can do is contact her off the record, as a mate, and see if she responds. The boys are grateful and say they're heading to Harold's, but to call them if he hears anything. Sgt Rodwell walks in after they leave, as Levi texts Nic. Surprisingly, Levi's phone rings. It's Nicolette.

Number 24
Paul and Terese arrive to see Jane and Chloe. They ask if there's any news, but Chloe says they've asked the staff at Harold's if they've heard anything and they've not so far. Toadie arrives. He says he thought he better let them know he saw Nicolette yesterday outside the community centre.

CHLOE: How did she seem?
TOADIE: She was a bit out of it.
PAUL: Out of it? Out of it how, I mean, did she say anything specific?
TOADIE: Just kind of in her own world. I did offer to call you, but she said that she didn't want to.
PAUL: And she didn't say what had gotten her shaken in particular?
CHLOE: We already know that...me.

Toadie apologises that he couldn't be more help.

Police Station
Levi is telling Aaron and David about Nicolette's phone call. He tells them she's safe, but that she said she's not coming back. David urges Levi to report her as missing so they can do a proper search, but Levi says they can't do that as there's no history of any mental health issues and she's chosen to leave of her own accord. David wants to speak to the sergeant, but Levi already has.

LEVI: It's just a case of an adult choosing to leave home after a family altercation. I'm sorry guys but there's just no cause for the police to get involved.

Levi offers to call Nicolette again once he finishes work, but stresses again that it's not a police matter. Constable Rodwell backs him up. David looks angry and he and Aaron leave.

Number 22
Terese ends a phone call to the boys; she's been told that the police can't do anything.

TERESE: It sounds like David's really distraught.
NED: Everyone must be.
LEO: Yeah, Chloe must be freaking out. I'll give her a call.
TERESE: Do you think that's the wisest thing to do?
LEO: Well, everyone else is obsessed with their own stress, who else is gonna look out for her?
TERESE: I just think you should focus on David.
LEO: Well, he doesn't want a bar of me right now. I'm going for a walk.

Ned heads out too. When Paul and Terese are alone, she tells him she's curious about why he was asking Toadie so many questions earlier.

TERESE: It seemed like you were more focused on why Nicolette was so upset.
PAUL: Well yeah, I'm worried about her.
TERESE: Paul, what's going on?...and don't even think about lying because I know you're hiding something.
PAUL: Alright, look, maybe I did go and see Nicolette yesterday.
TERESE: What, after I told you to leave the girl alone?
PAUL: Yes, because I was defending David and Aaron.
TERESE: By saying what?
PAUL: That they weren't the ones who did anything wrong. I did not want her blaming them for Chloe's actions. And now, now she's going and punishing them even more.
TERESE: Could you have possibly said something that upset her further?
PAUL: No. No, I was just trying to sort the situation.

Terese says they've had a rough few days and they should just focus on their family and be there for each other. Paul tells her she's right, but as she walks away, he looks guilty.

Ramsay Street
Kyle greets Amy on the street and she asks him if he's seen Levi as he was meant to be there 10 minutes ago.

KYLE: No, no I haven't. But don't worry - he's pretty excited for this date of yours (smiles)...you must be too though, it's not every day you go swimming with sharks!

Amy looks shocked.

KYLE: No, no, I mean I don't know if you're swimming with sharks...
AMY: Don't worry, I looked excited. If the guy ever gets here...
KYLE: Look, Levi's never late without a good reason.

Amy gets a text. It's Levi saying he needs to rain check.

AMY: Are you serious? I wore my hottest, most uncomfortable shoes for this.
KYLE: Right...

Amy's annoyed by Levi's behaviour and walks into Number 30.

Number 24
Aaron and David have gone to see Jane and Chloe. They've just told them about the phone call with Levi.

CHLOE: She can't not come back; did she mean never?
DAVID: We don't know. That's all she said.
AARON: Alright, we need to think about what this means for the baby. I mean, she's due in two weeks.
JANE: Even if she is considering moving away for good, I mean...she'll come back for the birth.
AARON: What if she doesn't? What if we're not there for the birth of our own daughter?
CHLOE: We can't let it come to that; we'll find her.

Aaron says they should come up with a plan on what to do, which causes David to lose his temper, telling him to stop acting like he knows what to do.

DAVID: Ever since Chloe freaked out about her relationship you've been so sure about how to handle things.
CHLOE: Are you seriously still blaming me for that? I'm sorry my feelings were so inconvenient for you guys.
AARON: Hold on, don't you start. You haven't got a leg to stand on, especially after what you and Leo did.
CHLOE: We didn't do anything!
AARON: Oh yeah, you didn't do anything? You dragged us into a pack of lies, that's what you did!
JANE: Stop it, all of you! We need to focus on finding Nicolette and bringing her home.

Lassiters Complex
Toadie finishes a phone call to Audrey, asking her to call him if she hears at all from Nicolette. Ned bumps into him on the complex and says that if everyone pitches in, hopefully they'll find her eventually. As Toadie leaves, Amy exits Harold's.

NED: Hey, shouldn't you be with Levi?
AMY: Ah...I thought so too, but...he cancelled. Via text by the way. Feel free to dive in and badmouth the guy, because right now, I'd be inclined to agree.
NED: You obviously didn't hear that Nicolette's missing.
AMY: No. Missing, what?
NED: Taken off actually. It's a real mess actually, but Levi was trying to help.
AMY: Oh...now I feel bad.
NED: No no, you didn't know. But yeah, Levi wouldn't bail without a reason. He's not that sort of a guy.

Amy smiles and looks relieved.

Number 24
Leo's arrived to see Chloe.

LEO: I know this is a bad look me being here, but...I just wanted to check you were ok.
CHLOE: Oh you know, just trying to decide whether I wish I'd never been born and wishing I could fling myself into the sun.
LEO: Oh come on Chlo, don't be like that. You know this isn't your fault.
CHLOE: That's kind of you but...I think there's a whole queue of people who would disagree.
LEO: I take it you told Nicolette nothing happened between us.
CHLOE: Texted a million times, left a million messages, she either doesn't believe me, or doesn't care.

Jane walks in, and tells Leo he shouldn't be there.

JANE: (to Chloe) And you should know better than to let him in.
LEO: There's no need to attack Chloe.
CHLOE: It's ok. Jane's right, you should probably go.
JANE: Nicolette was heartbroken enough by what you did with him, what if she were to come home, walk in, and find you in his arms?
CHLOE: I wasn't in his arms, he was just checking I'm ok. He's the only one who has.

Jane loses her cool, telling Chloe that Aaron and David are in a state of panic and she doesn't know where her daughter is or if she's even alright, so Chloe shouldn't expect to be anyone's first priority right now. Chloe looks like she feels guilty.

Ramsay Street
Levi sees Amy on the street and runs over to her.

LEVI: Amy, I'm so sorry.
AMY: I heard about Nicolette.

Levi says he'd like to explain anyway; he couldn't do anything about Nic while he was at work, but tried to check in with her after, though she's now ignoring his calls. Amy makes a joke before giving Levi a hug. Kyle and Ned walk up the street and see Levi and Amy. Kyle says good on him for not taking advantage of the situation to get closer to Amy.

NED: She would have found out the truth eventually.

They walk into Number 22.

Lassiters Complex
David's talking to Sgt Rodwell, trying to convince him to help him track down Nicolette. David explains that Nic is carrying his and Aaron's baby, but when asked whether it's a formal surrogacy, he admits it's a private arrangement. Unfortunately, Sgt Rodwell says in that case they still can't do anything. Leo arrives and witnesses David losing his temper as Sgt Rodwell tells him to lower his voice. Leo intervenes, offering to take David home. After Rodwell leaves, David's anger turns to Leo.

DAVID: I was about to get through to him! Why do you keep screwing everything up for me?

David storms off and Leo looks concerned.

Number 24
Aaron arrives to see Chloe, saying he got her text.

AARON: Is there any news?
CHLOE: No, I just wanted to apologise. I know how stressed you and David are, I shouldn't have got defensive before.
AARON: I can't believe you asked me over here, just for that.
CHLOE: What? So you don't accept my apology?
AARON: Ok, fine. If that's what you want, if it makes you feel better, I accept. It doesn't change anything.
CHLOE: That's all you have to say to me?
AARON: Well, what else do you wanna hear?
CHLOE: I don't know, I hoped maybe you'd say sorry too...you were pretty harsh earlier!
AARON: I was being harsh? No, Chlo, I was going easy on you before.

Aaron lays into her, saying he warned her from the start not to rush into things with Nicolette. She gets defensive but he continues to list all the mistakes she's made before leaving and saying that he doesn't know why he ever trusted her. Chloe looks upset by his harsh words.

Number 32
Leo and David are arguing.

DAVID: I could have talked him round!
LEO: You're kidding yourself...
AARON: Woah, what's going on?
LEO: David almost got in a punch up with a cop!
DAVID: It was under control, you shouldn't have got involved!
LEO: I wasn't gonna stand by and watch you get arrested.
PAUL: Look, calm down, the two of you. Look, David, I think we need to take a walk.

David yells that he doesn't need to go for a walk, he just needs Leo to stay out of his life. Leo argues that all he's ever been doing is trying to help David.

LEO: Why do you think I was getting close with Chloe in the first place?
DAVID: To get into her pants obviously!
LEO: Because people like dad and Pierce knew Nicolette was bad news.
AARON: What is he talking about?
LEO: Look, I know I overstepped the mark with Chloe, sure, but I only hired her to keep tabs on Nicolette! And then it all just spiralled from there.

Terese asks Paul if he was involved in all of this.

LEO: He didn't trust Nicolette and he was right...you can't blame me or him for what is happening.
PAUL: Leo...
LEO: No no no, you need to face it. You picked the wrong person to have your baby and now she's run away with it!

David punches Leo square in the face. Everyone looks shocked.

LEO: Are you sure you wanna start something you can't finish?
DAVID: Oh, I'll finish it!
AARON: No, David don't.

Paul tries to intervene but he's unable to stop David getting up in Leo's face.

LEO: If punching me is the only way to get over this then why don't you get it over with!
DAVID: Get out!
LEO: You think kicking me out is gonna solve anything?
DAVID: Get out of my house! I never wanna see you, I never wanna hear from you ever again!
PAUL: Oh David, you don't mean that.
LEO: No, it's fine. I'm going.

Leo leaves and everyone looks at David in shock.
