Amy is in the sun room on the phone to Liam, while Leo and Kyle wait anxiously outside on the patio. Amy's giving Liam a serve for not letting her know Jimmy was having problems.
AMY: Of course I'm angry at Kyle. I'm angry at everyone who's kept me in the dark!
Kyle overhears this last bit, and looks contrite. Amy tells Liam to call her the second he hears something, and goes to join Kyle and Leo outside. She reports that none of Jimmy's friends have seen him, and nor have the police or hospitals. Amy's still worried Jimmy could be hurt; Leo reckons he might just be staying with a mate and getting them to lie for him.
AMY: That doesn't sound like Jimmy. Then again, what do I know? I'm only his mother (!)
Kyle looks contrite again as Amy marches off.

Paul reports the situation with Jimmy to Harlow and Roxy, saying all the family in New York are out looking for him. Meanwhile, David is going to be tried on dialysis again today, Paul says - they're hoping that the latest round of antibiotics will have started working.
HARLOW: In the meantime, keep looking for a donor.
PAUL: Yeah, except nobody's passed the third test yet (...)
HARLOW: Somebody, somewhere will be compatible. I have no doubt they'll turn up.
Roxy is looking pensive as she listens to this. Paul heads out to the hospital. Roxy encourages Harlow to call the prison and find out if Robert has had the donor test yet. Harlow says the prison promised to call her, but Roxy thinks she should follow it up anyway.
ROXY: We do not have time to waste.
Ned comes in and asks what they're talking about, but Harlow and Roxy play dumb. Ned says they've been whispering for days.
ROXY: Then maybe what we're talking about is none of your business.
Roxy heads off to work. Ned asks Harlow if she and Roxy are both okay; she replies that they're just worried about David.
Erinsborough Hospital
Paul is visiting David, alongside a worried Aaron. David is not in a good way. Paul tells Aaron that Lucy, Elle and Chris are all on the hunt for Jimmy in New York; he asks if Aaron has been home for a rest lately.
AARON: No, I can't leave. The antibiotics still aren't doing anything. They tried to get him on the dialysis again, but his blood pressure keeps bottoming out.
PAUL: There must be something else they can do.
AARON: (...) The only thing that's gonna help him is a new kidney.
PAUL: Yeah, I'm working on that.
Paul says he hasn't been able to fast-track a donor through the national registry, who didn't take kindly to his trying to buy his way to the top of the list! Aaron wonders if David's infection would make him a priority on the list anyway. Paul says he'll look into it.
Lassiter's Lake
Roxy is sitting on a bench, crying.
Lassiter's Complex
We cut to Roxy cleaning tables outside The Waterhole. Shane notices she's cleaned the same one several times, and comments on it - then notices that she's crying. He encourages her to take a seat and tell him what's wrong.
ROXY: I'm a horrible, selfish person - and I wish that I wasn't, but I am!
SHANE: What have you done?
ROXY: I haven't done anything, and that's the problem. And I know I should. David... David's kidney, I'm a match. I passed all of the tests. And I know it's horrible, and I haven't done anything, and I haven't told anyone because, to be honest, I'm terrified.

Kyle and Leo come in, and find Amy searching for last-minute flights to New York online - if she doesn't hear from Liam soon, she's heading out herself to help look for Jimmy. Kyle offers to buy the tickets and take her to the airport.
AMY: The last thing I need is any help from you (...) You should've talked to me, Kyle.
KYLE: Yeah, I know. But after everything I've put you and your family through lately, I... I couldn't. Babe, please - don't shut me out.
At that moment, the door opens and in walks Jimmy, safe and sound!
JIMMY: Hello.
Amy leaps on him with a hug, telling him she's been going out of her mind, and asks what he's doing here. Jimmy doesn't look very thrilled to be home, as Amy drags him into the kitchen for the full story! Kyle looks baffled.

Harlow is on the phone and judging by her expression it seems like good news. She moves from the kitchen into the living room, where Paul, Terese and Ned are urgently discussing David's predicament.
HARLOW: I might've found a solution... but you're really not gonna like the way I've gone about it.
PAUL: Oh, Harlow, if this is gonna save David's life, I don't care what you've done! Now, tell me!
HARLOW: Okay... umm, a few days ago I went to visit my dad in prison.
Paul gasps for breath, in shock.
PAUL: Why would you do that without telling us?
HARLOW: Because I knew you'd react like this. Roxy came with me (...) I only did it so he could get tested to be a match.
NED: And did he agree?
HARLOW: Well, the prison just called. He passed the second test with real high markers. So right now, he's our best and only hope for getting David a kidney.

Amy is on the sofa opposite a very nonchalant Jimmy.
AMY: I am so happy you're okay, but... what the hell were you thinking? We've all been worried sick.
JIMMY: I wanted to surprise you.
AMY: Oh. Well, that's lovely... How did you buy a ticket?
JIMMY: Used my savings.
AMY: If you wanted to visit, I would've helped out.
Leo and Kyle come in from the kitchen; Leo's headed out to the hospital to see David, but says he'll call everyone to let them know Jimmy's okay. Kyle decides to go with him.
KYLE (to Jimmy): Glad to see you're alright, mate. And if I was too harsh on you the other day, I'm really sorry.
JIMMY: What?
KYLE: On our call.
JIMMY: Oh. Whatever.
KYLE: You sure you're not upset about it?
JIMMY: No.
KYLE: Oh, that's good, then!
Kyle leaves them to it, and Amy demands to know what's really going on with a still-very-sullen Jimmy.
AMY: You flew all the way from New York on your own! That is not your style, buddy. What's going on?
JIMMY: Nothing!
AMY: Come on, I need more than that.
JIMMY: Okay. I guess me and Dad have been fighting lately.
AMY: What about?
JIMMY: Just... everything. He's so uptight. That's why I came here. I just wanted some space. I'm hungry.
Jimmy heads to the kitchen, leaving Amy bewildered.
Erinsborough Hospital
Leo is visiting David, when Aaron comes in - he's just been speaking to the doctors. Since David's kidney's been failing, his liver has been working flat out to compensate, so now that's beginning to fail too.
AARON: They're doing everything they can. He can't really eat any more, so they're gonna have to start feeding him through a tube (...) It's the infection, it's making his body go into meltdown.
Aaron is getting upset.
AARON: If nothing happens soon, David could die.
Leo hugs a tearful Aaron.
Lassiter's Complex
Shane and Roxy are still talking about her donor quandary. Roxy asks Shane if he thinks she's a selfish brat.
SHANE: No, I think donating an organ's a big deal. Especially to someone you don't know that well.
ROXY: Everybody's, like, 'I wish I was a match'. Like cutting out a piece of yourself and giving it to someone else is like giving a dollar to charity. And I've researched it. There's so many risks. What if I get an infection? What if I have an allergic reaction? And what if someone in my family needs it, and then that's it - I've only got one left?
Roxy has become tearful again.
ROXY: I only did the test to shut up Harlow. I didn't think it was a big deal.
SHANE: Come on, there's still time. Someone else could come through. And whatever happens, it is your choice.
ROXY: Why do I have to make a decision? I don't want to make a choice, because I'm scared!
Dipi turns up, and tells Shane that she's just spoken to Aaron - things have got much worse with David, and he needs a donor now more than ever. Roxy is listening in to this from nearby.
DIPI: I just wish I was a match.
SHANE: You haven't even been tested.
DIPI: That's because I'm the wrong blood type. But if things were different, I'd give him a kidney in a heartbeat.
Aware that Roxy's listening, Shane plays this down.
SHANE: It's easy to say that when you know you're not a match, and you don't actually have to go through with it.
DIPI: Are you saying you wouldn't do it?
SHANE: No. I'm just... saying it's not as simple as all that.
Roxy's still looking upset.

Paul updates Terese, Ned and Harlow about Jimmy - he's crashed out after his long flight, and isn't being very forthcoming.
PAUL (to Harlow): Which seems to be a family trait.
HARLOW: If I'd have told you we'd have got into a massive argument.
PAUL: Yeah, you're dead right about that!
HARLOW: I know you hate the idea of me seeing my father...
PAUL: Because I am worried about you, Harlow.
HARLOW: ... but it was always going to happen.
PAUL: Yeah, we could've talked about it!
HARLOW: What, with the time that David doesn't have?
PAUL: Just because he's passed the first two tests, doesn't mean he's gonna pass the third. And even if he does, it doesn't guarantee that he's gonna donate, does it?
HARLOW: The prison says he's willing to take the third test. If he's a match, David gets his kidney.
PAUL: (...) He's messing with you, Harlow - that's what he does, and that is why I would never have let you go and meet him on your own.
HARLOW: But there is one condition.
PAUL: Oh, really, just one? (!)
HARLOW: He wants you and Terese to go and see him.
TERESE: ... Why would he want to see me?
HARLOW: I dunno. But this is for David; you can't say no.
PAUL: No, no - there are other ways.
NED: If there were, you'd have found them by now.
TERESE: Ned's right. You can't ignore this, Paul.
Paul gets a call from Aaron, and goes into the other room to take it.
Lassiter's Complex
Kyle is telling Sheila and Gary about his plan to change Amy's mind about having a baby by bringing Jimmy home, but how he had a row with Jimmy during their video-chat. He says it's not the reason Jimmy went AWOL, but nonetheless, Sheila tells Kyle off for interfering (!) while Gary tells him off for being an idiot (!)
SHEILA: You can't force Amy into having a family just because you want one.
KYLE: Yeah, righto. I get it, I stuffed up.
SHEILA: Yeah, well I hope you can dig yourself out of this.
Motorway
Paul and Terese are in the car on their way to visit Robert.
PAUL: You know there is no way that I would be visiting him if David wasn't dying.
TERESE: No, of course not.
PAUL: Cos if there was any other way to get this kidney, Terese - *any* other way at all...
TERESE: I understand, Paul. I wish there was too, but Harlow's right. Robert is our best chance, and it's worth pursuing.
PAUL: You just don't know what he's like, Terese. I'm also worried about you. Well, the last time Robert was in my life, I was seeing Izzy and he hated that so much, he blew up a plane.
TERESE: What, because you were seeing Izzy?
PAUL: No, because he has never accepted the fact that his mother and I just didn't work out, so he resents anyone who he thinks is trying to replace her. I'm sorry, but I did not want you facing him unprepared.
TERESE: I'd do anything for David. I mean, have you actually considered the possibility that Robert wants to make amends?
PAUL: (scoffs)
TERESE: Well, he may have softened after seeing Harlow. And if he gets his kidney, it means that he gets a chance to have a relationship with her.
PAUL: Terese, the man is a certified psychopath. They don't have redemption stories - just mind games and hidden agendas.
TERESE: Yeah, well, let's just go and see, okay?

Amy is on the phone to Leo, and is surprised to learn Robert is now in the picture as a kidney donor. As she finishes the call, Jimmy emerges from his room, fresh from a nap but as miserable as before!
AMY: I spoke to your dad again, and he said that you're running with the wrong crowd.
JIMMY: My friends are fine!
AMY: Then why are you fighting with him all the time? Everything was great until now.
JIMMY: I told you - he's on my back about every little thing all the time. So please, just don't do the same. I need a coffee.
AMY: What? Since when?! ... Okay, I'll make you one.
While Amy's in the kitchen, Jimmy goes straight into her handbag and steals some cash from it...
The Waterhole
Sheila and Dipi are chatting about Amy. Sheila admits that all Kyle and Gary have done for Amy is cause her grief.
SHEILA: I hate saying this, but much as I love my own flesh and blood, I wouldn't blame Amy if she gave Kyle the flick.
Meanwhile, Shane asks Roxy to cut up some limes for him! Roxy thanks him for the chat before, and for not telling Dipi.
SHANE: It's your business, not hers.
ROXY: I still appreciate it.
SHANE: Any time.
Harlow comes in and demands to know why Roxy hasn't been answering her calls. A shifty Roxy claims she's been busy working. Harlow tells her that Robert scored highly on the first two donor tests, but that Paul hates the fact Robert might be a match, and thinks he only wants to use the kidney as a bargaining chip.
Albury Supermax
We see Robert being led down a corridor by two prison guards, towards the visitor room. He smirks dangerously when he sees Paul and Terese waiting for him, and sits down.
ROBERT: It's nice to see you again, Dad.
PAUL: Let's drop the pleasantries, shall we? Where's the proof that you passed the first two tests?
Robert presses the paperwork against the glass wall between them, and Paul looks at it carefully.
ROBERT: You must be the latest Mrs Robinson?
TERESE: Umm, you can just call me Terese.
ROBERT: Oh!
He smiles at her mockingly, but the smile fades quickly.
PAUL: It looks legitimate.
ROBERT: I wouldn't have asked you to come all this way if It wasn't.
PAUL: So, you're definitely willing to be a donor if you pass the third test?
ROBERT: I am.
PAUL: ... What do you want in return?
ROBERT: What makes you think I want something in return?
PAUL: Are you saying you don't?
Robert puts his face close up to the glass.
ROBERT: I want to get out of here.
PAUL: You're never getting out.
ROBERT: Oh, there are ways. If you want my kidney for your doctor son, you'll listen to every word I have to say.

An angry-looking Jimmy watches TV, while Kyle talks to Amy in the kitchen. Kyle is apologetic to Amy about his call to Jimmy, but since it's not the reason he's upset, hopes they can move past it.
AMY: It still doesn't change the fact that you went behind my back.
KYLE: You're right. There was no excuse; I'm sorry. Just tell me what I need to do to make things right. Please, Amy. We were finally getting back on track, and it's my fault that we derailed again. I really want to fix this.
AMY: To be honest, our relationship is the least of my worries right now. He says there's nothing wrong - but, I mean, there obviously is. It's way more than teenage moodiness.
KYLE: Do you want me to have a chat to him? See what I can find out?
AMY: Are you seriously suggesting that? (...) You are not talking to Jimmy again! (...) If you want to make it up to me, then take a step back!
Kyle looks miserable.
Albury Supermax
Robert is still talking to Paul and Terese.
ROBERT: I understand I'll never be released. But I could go to a lower security prison. My record here is spotless. And with your money, and connections...
PAUL: You'd need a good lawyer.
ROBERT: And your personal recommendation of support. This isn't just about me.
PAUL: No?
ROBERT: I'd like to be moved to a prison that's closer to Erinsborough. It means that I get to see Harlow more easily... I know this is serious. I wouldn't have asked you to come here if it wasn't. But whether your son lives or dies means nothing to me.
PAUL: You lowlife piece of -
ROBERT: Oh, say what you want. I'm the one with all the kidneys.
TERESE: He's right, Paul. If you want to help David... you have no choice.
ROBERT: Listen to the latest Mrs Robinson here! She speaks the truth.
PAUL (shouting): Alright! ... Alright. We have a deal.
Robert smiles eerily.
