Backpackers Retreat
Tyler and Piper are in the kitchen. Tyler says the milk's gone off, Piper thinks that's why it was cheap. Piper is fine without food, she wants to throw up at the thought of seeing Elly. Tyler reminds her at least Elly didn't call the police. Piper points out that Elly wants to have something over her. Piper will be in trouble when Elly changes her mind. Tyler reminds her about the fine from the bar. Piper's sorry, she wasn't aware. she hardly sees him with school and his work. Tyler reminds her he was on trial and she was risking his job.

PIPER: It was stupid and impulsive. With work and school I hardly get to see you anymore. Love makes you do crazy things.

Tyler hopes Elly will keep quiet. Piper points out Elly isn't a big fan of hers. Tyler asks her to promise she won't do it again and they kiss.

No.30
Sonya wants to know if they're meeting at her office. She reminds him about the charity lunch that's in the joint calendar. Toadie is apologetic as he has a meeting at the bank. Sonya wants him to reschedule but he can't. He wants to remortgage the house. Sonya needs to sign about Willow's school fees. Sonya points out as the Mayor she isn't able to reschedule. Toadie points out the money won't clear in time if he doesn't go to the bank. Toadie leaves.

Steph has come through to the front room and asks what's going on.

SONYA: I'm beginning to understand how you felt when Mark just prioritised me and the baby.

Steph realises she's talking about the baby. Sonya says there's all the discussions, decisions and appointments. Steph reminds her they're doing it for Willow. Steph apologises for not being there for Sonya, she will be now. Steph wants to know how she can help. Sonya wants Steph to look after Nell whilst she has a counselling appointment at eleven this morning. Steph is happy to agree. Steph needs to do a few things but she will return in time.

Harold's Cafe
Brad is sitting at the table whilst Paige is talking to him during a quiet period of her shift. Brad is telling her that the studio was now much better by the time he came back. Paige is pleased to hear this. Paige thinks Ned's got a good setup.

BRAD: Yeah. He's living the dream! Doing what he loves with the beach just over the road.

Brad does wish things were going better for Amber and Matilda and Paige asks if Matilda isn't better yet. Brad explains Matilda still has a weak immune system. Brad thinks he and Lauren should head back there as soon as possible. Paige hopes Amber knows they're all there for her and Brad reassures Paige that Amber knows that. Brad's been leaving messages for David and is wondering where he is. Paige wonders why Brad's doing this. Brad explains as David's now part of the family he wants to make an effort. Paige is sure that David will call him back. Paige looks at her phone, there's a message from David wanting to catch up.

Erinsborough Hospital (Outside)
David is outside the Emergency Department as Paige arrives to meet him. He thanks her for coming, he thought being away from work would be better. There is a silence then Paige realises David is no longer able to be the baby's father. David explains that everyone wants to be involved. Paige tells him he doesn't need to explain but he wants to. David offered to step in and he feels he's let her down. It's got confusing and he went to speak to Jack. Paige doesn't look so happy now! David reassures Paige that Jack can keep a secret. Paige realises that Jack knows David isn't the father. David explains he needed to get it off his chest but he'll still be there for Paige through it all.

PAIGE: You were really amazing to do this for me in the first place. We were going to have to tell people sooner or later. We just have to deal with the practicalities of the sooner situation.

David tells her Brad has been talking about 'bonding' in texts. Paige realises she needs to tell Lauren and Brad now, David offers to do it together, he insists.

Jack's Church (Outside)
Jack sits on a bench looking at the Bible which is closed. He then puts it down.

Dee's Room
Dee tells someone that it's open and Steph comes in. Steph wants to talk but Dee can't stop. She's got an appointment at the bank. Steph realises it's at the bank with Toadie. Steph notices Dee has dressed up in a red dress and asks if Dee is going out afterwards. Dee denies this, she wanted to look nice for Toadie. It's an important meeting for Toadie, for both of them.

STEPH: Ok Dee, I'm just going to come out and say it. You're not starting to get feelings for Toad are you?

Dee laughs and denies this. Steph wants to double check and Dee is insistent. Sonya and Toadie have a beautiful family, she doesn't intend to ruin that. Steph tries to explain and Dee tells Steph she wants to take care of her family, Willow. Dee doesn't think she should be blamed for any of Toadie and Sonya's problems. Steph insists she agrees and Dee insists she's the last person at fault. She thinks Steph should know that! She goes off to finish getting ready.

Erinsborough High
Piper is sitting on a seat reading a book in the corridor. Susan comes over with Elly asking to have a word. Susan is really pleased with Piper's latest results and has e-mailed Brad and Terese to tell them. With the work experience week coming up Susan thinks it's good timing. Susan has asked Elly to find something to do with online journalism. Piper agrees that would be perfect. Elly suggests she talks to Piper now about it and Susan heads off.

Elly takes the fake ID out of her folder and tells Piper they need to discuss it. Piper doesn't think it's a school matter but Elly disagrees and tells Piper she's confiscated four of them in the last month. Piper claims she chose to do it and she's not going to dob. Elly reminds Piper if this gets out Piper will be in so much trouble. Piper can forget work experience if she's suspended, Tyler's work and the fines involved. Elly will need to report Piper if she doesn't find out by the end of the day who's responsible. Elly leaves and Piper looks worried.

No.32 Backyard
Lauren and Brad are astounded that David isn't the father. David agrees he's not and Brad (clearly annoyed) asks why he said he was the father. Paige explains that David wanted to help with her pregnancy. Lauren realises they've never been together and David agrees they're just friends. Paige explains they've come clean sooner than expected. Every step of the way David will be there for Paige. Paige thanks him for being there and indicates for him to leave. David thanks them for understanding.

Lauren laughingly doubts she fully understands! Paige points out she was under pressure to reveal the father. Brad tells her they were concerned but Paige insists she still felt under pressure. David had his own reasons for wanting to help.

LAUREN: Paige I know you're going through a really tough time at the moment but the reason we were asking who the father is because (Lauren's voice gets louder) we want to help you!

Paige knows that but she has it under control. Brad thinks Lauren might not agree but he thinks the father has the right to know. Paige doesn't think he should know and Brad wants to know why. Paige claims he's married! There's a stunned silence. Brad agrees it complicates things. He wants to know if Paige has thought it through about naming and involving him. Paige suggests she keeps thinking about it and leaves.

Harold's Cafe
Dee is really grateful to Toadie and can't get over the fact he remortgaged his house. It means so much to Willow and Dee. Toadie points out he needs to make up thirteen years of child support plus Dee has been a single Mum. Dee admits she was nervous when she found out she was pregnant. She wondered if she'd be able to cope but she fell in love with Willow when she was born. Toadie agrees the same happened when Nell was born. Dee says until Willow came she never had really considered motherhood. Toadie looks at Dee and she asks what's wrong. Toadie explains before Dee was with Toadie she was pregnant and Darcy was the father. Dee explains that according to the doctors the big traumatic memories would be the last to return. Dee thinks she should have remembered that. Dee asks what happened.

TOADIE: I was washing the car and you slipped on the driveway. That's how you lost the baby. We planted the rosebush in memory of the baby and well I was there for you when you needed me and that's actually when we started falling in love. (Laughs) Shouldn't have told you the last bit.
DEE: You're a real man Jarrod Rebecchi.

Toadie points out Dee noticing that took a long time. He fell in love with her long before she fell in love with him. She kept crying on his shoulder about having her heart broken by a guy. He thought that would be all there was, then there was more. Toadie offers to show Dee the rosebush. Dee tearfully agrees.

Jack's Church Office
Jack is practicing out loud his sermon on devotion when we see Paige watching him from the doorway. He spots her and stops speaking. Paige apologises, she didn't want to interrupt. Jack explains he was practicing and Paige says it sounds great. Paige mentions that David told Jack he wasn't the father. Paige is sure that lots of things are going around Jack's head.

PAIGE: I've come to tell you the truth. The baby's father is married.
JACK: Married?
PAIGE: I was too embarrassed to tell you but now I have.

She tells him it's best if he lets it go. Jack wants to help her, he doesn't want to see her struggle. Paige insists they'll be fine.

Erinsborough High
Ben is putting his books in his locker as Piper leans against them. Piper is telling him she wouldn't be saying anything if it was just her. Tyler needs to be considered as well. Ben wants to know if she'll tell Elly. Piper points out if she does that Bec will make her life hell. Piper points out she'll probably be dobbed in by Elly anyway. Ben insists Elly isn't like that, she wants to sort things out. Ben thinks Bec will understand if Piper spills. Bec comes and calls Piper a rat for opening her mouth, she's now suspended. Bec is sure Piper blabbed. Piper insists she didn't say anything. Bec is still convinced it's Piper and tells her Piper she doesn't know what she's done. Bec promises Piper she will know soon and leaves. Piper wants to know what's going on. Ben thinks someone dobbed and Piper adds that Bec blames her.

Lassiter's Lake
Paige is pacing next to the bench before sitting down on it. She gets out her sketch of Jack and looks at it.

No.32 Backyard
Lauren is standing and looking at the sketch of Brad. Brad comes outside and over to her. Lauren reflects that she did the sketch when pregnant with Paige to be closer to him. The sketch now means being closer to Paige. History is repeating itself in many ways. Lauren thought that she her and Paige's relationship meant Paige could tell her these things, Brad thought the same. Lauren says they shouldn't judge her for the guy being married. Brad points out that's dependent on the marriage. Lauren points out it takes two to tango even if he's happily married. The heat shouldn't all be on Paige.

BRAD: What if the third party isn't a wife?

Lauren isn't following him. Brad reminisces that they racked their brains for the possible father's identity when they knew Paige was pregnant. Lauren remembers they suggested Dustin. Brad talks about how he found Paige with Jack after the balloon accident.

BRAD: Jack who's married to God. (Paige comes outside.)
LAUREN: Paige does this have something to do with Jack? (Paige looks downwards.)

(Later) Paige explains when they got together getting pregnant was the last thing Paige thought would happen. Brad realises Jack doesn't know. She tries to tell him but she realises he is devoted to the Church. Brad doesn't think she should keep quiet because of that. Paige reminds them the priesthood means everything to Jack, this would destroy him. Lauren asks if Jack has suspected anything. It's been on Jack's mind but he accepted it when Paige told him he isn't the father. He's not ready for it. Brad tells Paige it's not for her to decide. He has to decide for all their sakes. Eventually she will tell Jack. Brad points out it will be harder the longer she leaves it. Paige knows it's bringing back memories, that's why he's doing this. They're not ready, more time is needed. Lauren agrees and gives her a hug. She tells Paige they'll be here for her and take as much time as she needs.

No.30
Dee and Toadie come through the door. Dee is carrying a white rose and thanks him for showing her the rosebush, it's beautiful. Toadie wants to go through the paperwork to open up the bank account. Toadie wants Willow's birth certificate. Dee says that Willow doesn't have a birth certificate, they didn't need one as they were living off grid. Dee will go to the Registry Office today. Toadie wants to change it and for his name to go on the birth certificate. Willow will need a DNA test given the circumstances. Dee wants to know if they can use the one from before. Toadie tells Dee it needs to be done at a hospital for a bank account. Toadie suggests getting an appointment with Karl later today. Dee wonders if it's necessary, Willow hated the first one. Toadie will see what he can do. Toadie suggests hurrying to catch Sonya at the function and Dee agrees. Dee asks to use the bathroom and Toadie agrees. Dee looks annoyed.

Steph comes in giving Nell a piggyback calling for 'Dad'. Dee explains Toadie's gone to see Sonya. Steph comments spending time together will be good. Steph needs to go out for a bit so she was going to ask Toadie to look after Nell. Dee offers to look after Nell, she's sure Toadie will be fine about it. Willow will be here soon and she's looked after Nell before. Steph is fine with this, thanks Dee and leaves..

Harold's Cafe
Piper comes in and goes over to Elly sitting by the window. Piper asks how Elly knew it was Bec, Elly tells Piper it's not her business. Piper points out Bec thinks Piper dobbed on her. Elly says that no one dobbed and Piper asks how Elly knew. Elly heard Bec talking about a nightclub and wondered if Bec was involved. Elly admits to giving the impression she knew Bec was involved. Elly didn't mention any names though. Piper reminds Elly she was the last person Bec gave an ID to. Elly reminds Piper she's saved Piper and Tyler a lot of trouble so she doesn't need this, in the future she won't do it.

Josie and Steph are sitting at a table. Josie reminds Steph she stated she'd stay away, Steph says she has done so. Josie wants to know why Mum has moved back and kicked Mama out. Steph has no idea. Josie comments that Mum has been doing lots of weird things and isn't listening to Josie. Steph reminds her that her Mums need to sort it between themselves, it isn't to do with her. Josie angrily insists it is to do with Steph, she's ruined things between her Mums. It's Steph's fault!

Erinsborough Hospital (Outside)
David is telling Leo that telling Brad and Lauren was awful. Not having to pretend is a relief though. Leo is amazed at how far David went to help Paige. Being part of the family was cool for David, nice and lots of the family. Leo points out they have their mother. David reminds Leo they haven't got a real Dad. They probably won't see him again after going to all the effort they did. Leo comments the baby wasn't the only one getting a Dad. Leo broaches the other reason David pretended to be the father. Leo knows David was put under pressure by their grandmother. He shouldn't feel obligated to live the life planned for him by their grandmother. David reminds Leo he did it for Paige. Leo continues to talk but David cuts him off saying he needs to get back to work.

The Waterhole
Jack comes over to Brad's table. He talks about how Paige told him about David. Jack thinks Brad and Lauren are also shocked. Brad says Jack has no idea, he is wishing Paige had always been honest about it. Jack comments that Paige wasn't ready. Brad doesn't think it's not fair for the other person. Brad wonders if he should know. Jack says that's for Paige to decide. For her health and for the baby they need to support Paige. Brad agrees and leaves.

Mark and Sonya are sitting at the bar. Mark hadn't realised they were going to counselling. Sonya explains it's meant to help them detach from the baby and Mark. Mark tells her he's applied for parental leave and he'll return part-time. Sonya is happy with this plan. Toadie arrives, he went to meet her at the lunch but she had already left. Sonya says if she'd known he was coming she would have stayed. Mark leaves and Toadie takes his seat. Sonya asks if they went to the bank. Toadie agrees they did and went through the paperwork. He left it as it was a weird moment. Sonya wonders what he meant. Toadie doesn't want to talk about Dee, he wants to spend time with Sonya. They agree to do this and kiss.

No.30
Nell is playing in the front room. Dee is telling Willow on the phone that they need to do it. It'll be trickier but Dee has sorted it. Dee needs Willow to get a test tube and swabs from the pharmacist then come over to No.30. Dee rings off.

DEE: Willow's coming over and we're going to play a game.
NELL: A fun game?
DEE: Yeah. Hey do you remember the scrape scrape scrape game? (Nell does.) Well we're going to play that game.
NELL: A fun game.
DEE: Yeah it's going to be fun.
