- Terese Willis has been appointed by Lucy as the new manager at Lassiter's
- Rani and Bailey get a little carried away during rehearsals and kiss, but Sonya has seen them
Community Centre (outside)
Sonya paces up and down, digesting what she's just seen. Callum sneaks up on her and surprises her - he's here to rehearse his own scenes - and Sonya gets all flustered as she wonders how to stop him walking in on Bailey and Rani kissing. She proposes he try on his costume, but Cal says he isn't getting changed in the middle of the street - so Sonya starts trying to measure him for it instead!
CALLUM: Get off me! People can see this! Stop being such a weird stage mother! Rani needs me.
He walks inside and Sonya follows with Nell, but Rani and Bailey are kissing no longer. Bailey rushes off, leaving Cal and Rani to do their scenes. However, Rani makes an excuse, saying Ajay needs her at home, and rearranging their rehearsals for this afternoon. Cal offers to walk her home, but Sonya intervenes, saying she needs Rani to try on a costume.
While Cal waits outside, Sonya wraps Rani in a sari whilst coldly revealing that she saw her kissing Bailey. Rani makes excuses, saying they were in character and had to rehearse the kiss at some point; they hadn't meant to do it, but since the scene was working really well it just happened.
SONYA: That colour really suits you.
RANI: It's not going to happen again. Not until the play... But please don't tell Callum. It'll just upset him.
SONYA: Mmm. Let's hope that's the end of that, then.

Terese is making breakfast when Brad and Josh come in from Josh's swimming training. Imogen makes a wise- crack about not needing athletic glory since she gets straight As, and Terese assures her she's sure she'll make friends when she starts school tomorrow. Imogen looks annoyed when Brad moves the subject straight back onto Josh, and whether the school will be happy to work around his swimming schedule.
Terese rushes off to work, just as Toadie turns up with a pot- plant as a housewarming gift. Brad offers him some scrambled eggs for breakfast in return, and Toadie negotiates some bacon into the bargain.
Outside, they join Imogen and Josh at the patio table. Brad explains to Toadie how Josh has a very busy schedule, as he is training to be a champion swimmer.
TOADIE (to Imogen): What about you? You got a schedule?
IMOGEN: Home by nine, don't get arrested.
Imogen claims she's less high- maintenance than 'the Olympian'.
BRAD: Imogen was top of her class in her school back in Perth; she doesn't need us as much.
Imogen looks sad, before forcing a smile.
IMOGEN: That's me. The perfect child. Every home should have one.
Ramsay Street
Amber crosses the road to put an old poster of Jacob from Twilight in the Willises' wheelie- bin (presumably since she learned about the perils of hiding embarrassing items like pregnancy tests in one's own bin), but Imogen catches her in the act.
AMBER: You can stop laughing now - I'm over it!
IMOGEN: Well I guess you can use up our valuable bin space just this once.
AMBER: Thanks.
IMOGEN: I was always Team Edward.
AMBER: Oh. Well that does it - we can't be friends.
They get talking, realise they're both in Year 11 at Erinsborough High, and introduce themselves.
Harold's Store
Bailey arrives to meet Rani, who explains that Sonya saw them kissing in the rehearsal. They are both in denial, trying to convince themselves that the kiss was merely the natural progression of their characters and 'wasn't real' - but Bailey concedes Callum might not see it that way. Rani suggests they stay away from one another as much as they can, so no- one gets the wrong idea. Bailey looks sad, but agrees to Rani's suggestion, and goes to leave. Rani also says she'll call off the play; Bailey says people will want to know why, and asks what she'll say to Ajay.
Later, Rani has told Ajay she's calling off the play since she has a lot of other schoolwork she needs to concentrate on, but Ajay thinks she's overreacting. He reminds her that the school has put a lot into it, and that people have already bought tickets. He asks if performing Priya's play is bringing up sad memories for her, and Rani says that it is - the more work she does on the play, the more she wishes her mum was here. Ajay tells Rani that calling off the play won't change that, and that she ought to face it head- on.

Mason arrives for a romantic day with Kate, but she seems distracted - and he quickly gathers that she's still thinking about having seen Mark during the eclipse. Kate says she's trying to let it go, but that she can't stop going over it in her head. Mason thinks it's odd that Kate thought she saw Mark right after Mason told her he loved her, but Kate says it's nothing to do with that. She theorises that Mark's death was faked as part of the witness protection scheme, to keep him safe.
KATE: And yes, I am aware of how crazy I sound when I say that out loud.
Mason asks how Kate can find out whether it's true.

Kate shows up to see Toadie, and tells him about having seen Mark. Toadie is very sceptical, but Kate insists she saw him clearly, and raises her theory about his death being faked. Toadie says that if Mark was still alive, he'd still be in witness protection and not in Erinsborough, but Kate asks if Toadie could look into it for her. He warns her she's unlikely to get answers but, in an unfortunate choice of words, he promises to see what he can 'dig up'.
Lassiter's Lake
Josh is running through the park as part of his fitness regime - as is Mason. They see each other, and Josh gives Mason a nod, before stripping off his T- shirt and doing press- ups on the grass. As Amber and Imogen pass through, chatting, Mason rushes over to Josh, takes off his own top and starts competing with him in the press- ups stakes. Amber eyes up Josh.
AMBER: Wow. Is he - ?
IMOGEN: Don't even bother. Unless you're 50 metres long and filled with chlorine, he won't even notice you exist!
AMBER: Yeah. I was just asking if he was going to go to the same school as us.
IMOGEN: Yeah, sure you were. And yep, he is. We're twins.
AMBER: ...
IMOGEN: Only our mother can tell us apart.
The girls laugh, and Imogen cops her own eyeful of Mason.
AMBER: Well, umm - do you want to go to Harold's?
IMOGEN: Who's Harold?
AMBER: I have no idea!
Lassiter's
At the hotel reception, Paul bullies one of his employees, Wendy, for having brought him a substandard bottle of sparkly rather than the French champagne he ordered. Terese turns up and quickly tells Paul to stop patronising the staff! Wendy goes to fetch the menu so Paul can make another selection, and he says he'll be having it free of charge - but Terese says that has to stop, and that he can pay with his staff discount card like everyone else.
TERESE: I know you've always taken what you've wanted around here, but Lucy and I don't think it's a good look.
PAUL: Is that right?
TERESE: Mmm. And you need to start respecting the staff.
PAUL: I treat the staff fine; it's my leadership style.
TERESE: Well, after Lucy reads the staff surveys I had them fill out, you might like to reconsider that leadership style.
PAUL: I don't care what the staff think of me. I'm not here to be liked.
TERESE: Thank goodness for that.
Terese walks off, leaving Paul looking annoyed.

Toadie has been on the phone to Superintendent Hayes, who has told him that Mark is definitely dead. However, he's also learned that Wes Holland, who was the ringleader of the corruption racket Mark uncovered in the police force, has been killed recently. Hayes wouldn't say how Holland died, however. Kate says that if the threat Mark went into hiding from (I.e. Holland) has been removed, it's plausible that he has come back. Toadie says he wouldn't get his hopes up - and says that if even Kate did see Mark, the fact that he didn't approach her suggests he wants to 'stay dead'. Toadie says the best thing Kate can do is to stop tormenting herself, and let it go.
Lassiter's Lake
Kate strolls across the walkway, flashing back to the happy times she spent here with Mark when they were together. She comes to the spot where she thought she saw him, and takes out the picture of them from her purse, holding it up to the light. She flashes back to the eclipse and her sighting of Mark, and remains confused.
Community Centre
The play rehearsals continue, but Rani is distracted, and has to be reminded by Callum to yell at one of the bit- players, Jacob, who's forgotten to learn his lines. Cal asks if Rani's okay; she admits she's just getting nervous as the performance day approaches, but Cal assures her it will be fine. He says he's bought some Bollywood films on DVD for her, and Rani suggests he come over tonight to watch them.
CALLUM: Do I have to pay attention to what's on the screen?
RANI: No!
CALLUM: Then yeah. I'd love to.
He leans in and kisses her on the cheek, while Bailey looks on enviously. Rani panics and runs off, leaving Cal in charge of rehearsals. Bailey follows her out, asking what's going on.
RANI: Rani should choose Sanjay.
BAILEY: What?
RANI: Rani should choose Sanjay - I mean, he's a really good guy, and he's funny, and if she chooses him she doesn't have to kiss Raj.
Bailey tells Rani that changing the ending of the play is a great idea, and he should go ahead. But as she leaves, he looks sad.
Lassiter's
Terese finds a gaudy promotional board for the Eclipse apartments in the reception at Lassiter's, and is none too pleased. She asks a henchman, Glen, to move it for her to a less intrusive position, but when Paul comes in he asks Glen to move it back again. Terese reminds Paul that she's the hotel manager, and that her terms of employment state that she reports all things back to Lucy. Paul reminds her that, as owner, he has the final say; but Terese says if he wants to be part of the Lassiter's chain, they need to improve standards - not ruin the 'hotel experience' with tacky displays. Terese wanders off, and Paul tells Glen to do what she said.
Charlie's
Mason and Kate meet. She's decided she needs to accept that she imagined seeing Mark and to get over it. She apologises for going on about Mark and asks Mason to forgive her. He says of course he will, and offers to take her somewhere nice for lunch. Kate agrees.
KATE: Hey. I do love you, you know. I'm really sorry I didn't say it to you at the eclipse, but I do.
MASON: I know.
They hug.

Back at home, Kate gets a text from Mason saying: 'I miss you already!' She smiles. There's a knock at the door and, assuming it's Mason, goes to open it.
KATE: Well, you just can't get enough of me -
She stops short as she sees who is standing in the doorway.
KATE: Mark.
