Donna has had the idea of a Green Deb Ball. At first, Ringo thinks everyone has to wear green but Donna means environmentally friendly. Local food, second hand or homemade dresses and low power generators but still have an awesome deb. Ringo gets hopeful that they don't have to do the Waltz but they still have to do that. Ringo's disappointed, he wanted to 'dance normally' but they do that after. Sunny asks what they mean by dancing normally and they explain what normally happens. Sunny asks if everyone has to do it. Ringo says no but you're lame if you don't. Sunny doesn't look too happy. Everyone arrives for class and when everyone's sat down, Declan's at the door. Dan welcomes him back and he sits next to Ringo. He sees 'Didge 4 Dec' scratched on his desk and Dan's voice drones out for a while and fades back in. Dan asks him a question and he successfully answers.
Later on, there's a meeting for the Deb Ball and Donna explains going green. All the while, Sunny's looking down about the whole thing. Fitzy walks in to collect something.
DONNA: Fitzy, what do you reckon about a green deb?
DAN: As in Irish?
DONNA: No, as in sustainable, like, environmentally friendly.
Dan thinks it's great and notices Sunny doesn't look too keen. Donna answers for her that it'll all be fine as she's hyped up with excitement of the idea. She asks Sunny why she's not excited and Sunny says there's better things they can do for the environment than have a green deb and think's it's a stupid idea. Donna's insulted and Kate disagrees. Sunny thinks it's sexist having the girls all lined up too. Donna says if she feels like that then she doesn't have to be involved and not bring everyone else down with her.
SUNNY: What about you? Showing of with green and fancy dresses. It's all fake!
She runs out, leaving Donna pretty insulted and Kate wondering where that all came from.
Harold's Store
Ringo's reading a Shakespeare script, looks like either Macbeth or Hamlet, for English and Susan starts saying something from the book which he still doesn't get. He's thankful there's a film otherwise he'd never pass. Susan has the idea to tutor him again but Ringo's not so sure, Susan's been so tired lately. But Susan says she's pregnant, not an invalid and Ringo agrees. Susan gets up, happy he's agreed and bumps into Lyn. They have a big hug and Susan asks how everything's going. Lyn says she's still angry about that fight she had with Rebecca and Susan's immediately uncomfortable when she starts gossiping against her. Susan says she's uncomfortable and Lyn says she'd never ask Susan to take sides. Susan leaves and Lyn says she'll take sides when she hears what Paul's been doing to her.
Donna walks in, not happy and sits down with Ringo.
DONNA: Am I a fake?
RINGO: Are we talking about your tan?
DONNA: Sunny just called me one. Said I was a show-off as well.
Ringo asks why and Donna explains she was bagging out the deb and then her. Ringo thinks it could be a Korean thing and that Donna insulted her culture. Donna doesn't know what it was and Ringo tells her not to worry. He tells her she's genuine, kind and a totally hot chick. Kate runs in to tell Donna to get back to school: Sunny's lost the plot!

Sunny is now running a petition against the Deb Ball, shouting out to people that it may be green but it's sexist. She says instead they could be planting trees to really help the environment and someone signs the petition, actually saying the Deb sucks and not being silent as they sign! Donna arrives and asks what she's doing. Heaps of people liked the Deb but Sunny argues that heaps of people don't. Kate takes the clipboard from the girl, who argues that she was signing that and Kate tells her to get lost and she does in a great dramatic way! Donna and Kate read that it's a petition for the Deb Ball to be stopped and the money used for more practical environmental purposes. They think it's crazy and find over 6 pages of signatures and worry it's enough to shut them down.
In the classroom, Kate tells Donna they'll start their own petition and the Deb will still happen. Donna wonders why she hates her all of a sudden and worries other people think she's a show-off and a fake because she talks a lot, she likes attention and fashion, hair and make-up. Kate says she's fine but Donna gets up to fix things. She bumps into Fitzy bringing in research he did about going green but Donna says she's resigning. Donna says it's too much of a big responsibility for her.
Number 28
Rebecca as arrived, where Ringo's getting some tutoring from Susan but he goes for a break. Rebecca tells Susan she saw Lyn outside and Susan immediately thinks it's bad news but Rebecca says she didn't attack her this time. Rebecca apologizes for what she said yesterday and she shouldn't expect her to choose sides. Susan thanks her and really appreciates her understanding. Rebecca notices Ringo tucking into her wedding cake and Susan apologizes, saying it's all Karl's fault. Lyn suddenly pops in and her face falls when she sees Rebecca but Rebecca doesn't believe any of it when Lyn says she didn't know she was in the house. They begin arguing, looking to Susan to back them both up but Susan's had enough and tells Ringo to go to his room and study. Susan says she's friends with both of them and can see both points of view but won't get stuck in the middle. She suggests to have a cup of tea and try to get along together but Rebecca can't and heads off. Lyn sees the cake and much to Rebecca's disgust, starts to have a slice herself and Rebecca leaves with India in a huff.
Erinsborough High
Kate catches Sunny and asks her why she was attacking everything but Sunny says she wouldn't understand. Kate says Donna was really proud of her idea and now hates herself. Sunny didn't mean for any of it to happen and Kate asks if she really thinks it's sexist and a waste of money. Sunny says she does. Kate asks why she would do that to Donna after being such a good friend to her but all Sunny can do is apologize and walks off.
Number 26
Paul is fussing over India, Rebecca happily watching him and Donna and Declan arrive from school. Rebecca asks how school was for Declan and he positively says it was pretty good. Rebecca's pleased to hear this and Declan asks how India was all day. Paul says she ate, slept and was very cute and Declan says it's time for a cuddle and Donna joins him in the nursery. Rebecca tells Paul this is what she wants and it's what Paul wants too so he suggests to pay Lyn and get on with their lives but Rebecca has a better idea.
Number 32
Rebecca has arrived and tells Lyn, very politely, that she's a very angry woman who needs to let go of the past. She's not insulting Lyn, she's giving her a dose of reality. Rebecca says it's the second time she's tried to sabotage her marriage with Paul and the second time she's tried to get money from him. Lyn says he owes her but Rebecca says whatever she feels like he owes her, it's not money. Rebecca suggests to get some counselling or do whatever it takes to let go and leave her and Paul alone. Lyn says she'll leave when he pays her and Rebecca says she's not getting a cent. All she can do is delay the marriage but Lyn's not changing her mind. She says Rebecca's a fool in believing that Paul loves her and Rebecca asks her what she would do in her position. Rebecca tells Lyn that Paul loves her and they're leaving for their honeymoon the next day. Rebecca says she wants her gone when they get back.
Charlie's
Lyn tells Steph what Rebecca said, acting casual and that Rebecca was angry. Steph calls Toadie over and asks if it's illegal to tell someone to leave town and says that Rebecca threatened Lyn but Lyn says she wouldn't say threatened. Toadie can't really talk about it and Lyn says it's ok and she understands. Lyn says it would be better if she left. Steph tells her she's not going anywhere.
Lassiters Lake
It's night and Sunny is sitting on a bench and Kate comes over to talk to her. She tells her Donna resigned from the committee to prove she's not a fake show off. Sunny is sorry and regrets saying what she said. Kate understands she wasn't herself and asks what her problem was. Sunny hesitates but eventually tells her why she did it: because she can't dance. Kate thinks it was ridiculous to sabotage the Deb Ball because she can't dance. Sunny says she didn't meant to, it just happened and started fretting that Ringo said people are lame if they don't dance and that Donna had told her Zeke's good. Kate wants to know why she said all that mean stuff about Donna and Sunny says it's because Donna can dance, she's pretty and everyone likes her. Sunny felt jealous and says she hates herself. Kate says she should tell Donna. Sunny doesn't want to, it's embarrassing but Kate says it's either that or losing one of the best friends she's ever had.
Number 28
Ringo's reading aloud from the book to Susan but realises she's falling asleep. Donna walks in and miserably hugs Ringo, making sure Sunny isn't around as she doesn't want to see her. Donna tells Ringo that Fitzy's been hassling her about quitting the committee as he doesn't understand why he did and Ringo doesn't either. Donna doesn't want people thinking she's a fake and a show off but Ringo tells her to drop it, nobody thinks that but Donna thinks it must be true if someone who's supposed to be her friend thinks that. Sunny arrives home and Donna starts to leave but Sunny stops her. Ringo leaves and Sunny apologizes.
DONNA: For what? If you think I'm a fake, you think I'm a fake.
SUNNY: But I don't think you're a fake.
DONNA: Once it's out there, you can't just take it back.
Sunny explains that she thinks the Green Deb is a great idea and that she doesn't think she's a show off or a fake. Sunny tells her she did it all because she can't dance. Donna says she can't do all of those things and expect things to be better once she says sorry.
SUNNY: But I am sorry.
DONNA: Yeah, well actions speak louder than words.
SUNNY: What does that mean?
DONNA: It means I'm leaving.
SUNNY: What?!
DONNA: This friendship is officially over.
