Paul's Hotel Room
Izzy's amazed that Paul would think she'd play second fiddle to "Ms Hillary Clinton" or anyone! She's going down to the bar, and when she's done with one Cosmopolitan, she expects him to be there with bells on. Otherwise, it's over. Before she can go, Paul (cladly dressed in his white fluffy hotel robe) calls out to her that yes, he was wrong.

PAUL: Izzy...I take it all back. (cheeky grin) You're far sexier when you're mad!

Well, Izzy is not impressed at all and further requests he have a shower before he meet her. She does hate the smell of cheap American perfume afterall.

Scullys
Someone's lighting a candle as we get a slow, wide shot of...well, cleavage! Turns out it's Miss Lynette Scully! She finishes lighting the candles and looks around, pleased with her handywork of turning the living room into a love nest. There's a knock...but before she answers the door, she quickly has a change of heart, blowing out the candles and buttons up her cardigan. It's the mysterious Andy. Young, almost preppy looking guy - he steps in and gives Lyn a huge grin. They talk a bit about Lyn's good taste in couches and furniture, before they retreat to the kitchen to have their wine coffee. He's pleased she hasn't cancelled this meeting and has an important announcement to make. Andy has decided to leave Sand he's sure about his decision, as he knows exactly what he wants...(making eyes at Lyn) and it's not Sandy.

Bishops
Dylan and Stingray barrel in, Stingray with a lovely surprise for Serena...

STINGRAY: Where is she! Where is my young fair maiden. For my lady.

They both run off after he whispers Susan's house will be free for the next 2 hours and 48 minutes. Sighing, Dylan can't believe it.

DYLAN: How is this fair? I'm stuck here while my little brother scores himself some nookie. So here we are. Two lonely people, one comfy couch...

Sky just gives him the once over, daring him to even try it.

Scullys
Lying on the couch (by himself mind you, with Lyn on a seat), Andy talks about what his perfect life would be. Somewhere on in a cottage with his soulmate... (and apparently a sheepdog - Harvey barks on cue at this idea)

ANDY: She lets me be myself. The person I truly want to be. She encourages me and doesn't criticise me. Like you.
LYN: Oh, now you're being silly.
ANDY: This connection we have isn't silly. And you can't tell me you haven't felt anything...

But before we can all go "AWWW, Yay Lyn!", who should interrupt the moment...but Miss Janelle Timmins. She's having some trouble with her keys in the doorknob.

JANELLE: Geez, Lynny, you'll need to get some WD40 onto that. It's tighter than a fish's rear end!

(Handy) Andy jumps right up at Janelle's request, while she informs Lyn that she's here as her new apprentice! She notices she must have interrupted something, so she'll just dump her bags and be on her merry way. Whispering to Lyn has done a good with her "lifecoaching skills".

Susan's
Stingray and Serena continue their make-out session on the couch and just as things are about to get more steamy...who again should interrupt the moment but Janelle (who had handedly made a copy of the house key when she had it last). She interested to know where Suse and Wendy Sindi are and then realises that alone time + Stingray and Serena = getting some.

JANELLE: Trust me to waltz into town during rabbit season! Am I the only one not getting any?

Stingray immediately denies "getting anything" as they were just studying...biology! Yep, biology. Nonplused, Janelle plonks herself down on the couch, ready to turn on the tv nice and loud, suggesting that those two can just continue on with their experiment. Pretend she isn't even here!

Hotel Bar
At last, Paul greets Izzy...although she remarks he's one two many Cosmos too late. Well, she did want him to take a shower.

IZZY: I'm surprised Little Miss Idaho left you with any hot water! Where is she, cheerleading practice?

She is very interested in wondering why Paul was having a pool party with Lee, considering the last time they met he was having a go at her and her business motives which were not wanted.

IZZY: I'm sure there's somebody at Erinsborough Council who could explain to me while you're in bed with Uncle Sam...

Hotel Bar
Paul calmly explains the situation. See, Lee just happened to be staying in the same hotel to which they both made up and then they just decided to celebrate...in the spa. Unfortunately, Izzy doesn't believe him. She can afterall, spot a liar a mile away.

PAUL: It takes a liar to spot a liar, Izzy See, we all have our secrets.
IZZY: What I'm doing with Karl is completely different. No one is getting hurt.
PAUL: Yeah, as long as no one finds out!
IZZY: That sounds like a threat.
PAUL: I'll tell you what. I'll keep your secret, if you keep mine. Hmm?

After a moments thought...Izzy says she doesn't know. Perhaps it would be good if they were outsted as a real couple. It'd make things simpler for them!

PAUL: A real couple?
IZZY: Well, that's what you want isn't it? (she looks innocently at him)
PAUL: Alright Izzy, I'm sorry for what happened upstairs before. (she gives him another look)
IZZY: And?
PAUL: And yes I can see how it would be disrespectful to you.
(she raises her eyebrow at him)
PAUL: ...and I won't do it again.

Susan's
And the million dollar question is answered, what is Janelle doing here? Turns out that after she bought a computer with her payout cheque, she started Gorgling Googling people! Didn't turn up much with the family names, but when she put in Lyn's - she discovered that "A Good Hair Day" was looking for an apprentice. So here she is! Though...she doesn't exactly have the position yet, but she's working her best to grab it.

Who then should appear but Susan! Quite resembling a stunned mullet once spotting Janelle.

JANELLE: Suse, doll! (gives her a hug)

She tells her to relax, she's not staying here, but with Lyn so she can "pump her for hot tips 24/7". When Susan asks about her experience...she deftly responds she's been dying her own hair since she could sit on it! She just wants to show the world that she can be something, and a mum to be proud of.

Bishops
Still on the couch, Dylan tries the old "yawn-arm-around-the-girl" trick, though Sky spots it a mile off and threatens to break his arm. Trying his luck, Dylan doesn't listen and for that, gets Combat!Sky twisting his arm. (nice move Sky!) Serena glumly walks back in, annoyed they didn't get their full 2 hours and 48 minutes as Janelle interrupted them. Dylan leaps up in surprise and runs off to meet her...but not before seriously asking how he looks.

Susan's
While Susan cleans the couch (where Janelle was last spotted sitting), Janelle tell Stingray the news back home about the family. Susan informs them she's just going to pop over to Lyn's for a bit...but Janelle warns of the "major spunk material" that is Lyn's lifecoaching client. Susan can't believe it.

Dylan finally comes bounding in the room, embracing Janelle in a huge hug. Janelle however, is slightly channelling an icequeen demeanour with her other son. Warning him of staying up late, watching DVDs with girls when he should be studying, like Stingray has been doing all day...or is Dylan now the genius in the family? Stingray tries to butt in that they weren't studying at all, but is cut off. Dylan says he'll read before bed, and asks about his brothers.

DYLAN: Have you heard from Brandon? Is he still as thick as two bricks?
JANELLE: He's not the thick one...

Poor poor Dylan. Susan doesn't look impressed at all.

Community Hall

KARL: Mind if I take a seat?
DYLAN: Where are you taking it to?

Karl talks, or attempts to talk with Dylan about having Janelle back but is brushed right off. Serena and Stingray enter, and talk about how great it is having their mum back...although it may end in tears as Janelle has never even cut hair before. This gets Dylan gets extremely defensive, getting in his face - he doesn't want Stingray to talk about Janelle being a loser and warns him never to say that again.

Salon
Janelle is brooming around, while Lyn is with a customer - while continually asking if she would like coffee. Off to the side, Lyn quietly admit she has to come clean. She really had to push Gino to let Janelle have the position in the first place.

JANELLE: I'm sure I can win him over somehow...(suggestively undoes her zip on her top)

Though, quickly realising that it probably wouldn't work. Lyn continues that it may be awhile before she'd actually have any money coming in, in case she'd want to look for something else. Janelle thanks her for the truth and then comes clean herself. Kim had left her...but is now living with another woman. The way it is...she just needs to have "somebody believe in me right now."

Salon
With Karl at the salon, Janelle compliments him he hardly has any grey hair...at 50. Karl quickly corrects that fact, he's only 49!! Izzy (with a neat hat on) visits him, as she's back from visiting Fiona's mother...who was apparently sick with pneumonia, but it was downgraded to just a nasty chest cold. Karl can't believe what kind of doctor would get pneumonia mixed up!

Janelle notices the little gift bag and teases Izzy that she must have done something bad if she's bring a "guilt gift". Hmph! Izzy of course isn't, and will give it to Karl later.

Stingray and Dylan then run in, wanting to wish Janelle luck for her first day. She thanks Stingray, but wants to know what the hell Dylan is doing here. Unlike Stingray, he has rotten grades and should be studying! He tries explaining he was up to midnight studying and just wanted to wish her luck. She doesn't believe him and orders him away...pity that Dylan's doesn't have his own mother to believe in him right now... and from the looks on Karl's face, he's thinking the same thing.

Erinsborough High
Susan hands back their mock exam papers and was pleasantly surprised, they were all very good.

Serena - very nice work, nicely constructive
Dylan - huge improvement, terrific work (he gets a cheer from the class) and finally...
Scott - his best effort so far!

Dylan congratulates Stingray, Janelle will be so happy. While Susan gives out the rest, Stingray quietly asks if Serena has white out - he needs to change the grade on his paper and does so from a B+ to a D.

Community Hall
Izzy finally has a chance to give Karl his gift, and no, it's not another watch. Instead, it's a bottle of cologne, which Italian Vogue are calling it "the scent of the summer". Karl tries some on and muses he's smelt this somewhere before...(like on Paul maybe? Who knows) He kisses Izzy, exclaiming he can't believe how lucky he is!

Salon
As Lyn gets off the phone...Andy arrives. He's done it. Done what? He's left his wife and couldn't be happier for it. He hands Lyn a motel key...he's never been more certain that he wants to be with her. It's her choice, but she knows how to find him.

When he's gone, Janelle immediately pounces on Lyn. "Ooh! It's getting hot in here!!" It's too much for Lyn and she sort of breaks down, wondering what on earth a man like Andy would see in her, or what she has to offer.

JANELLE: You're a top sort! If I was a bloke I'd be trying it on myself.

More gently, she advises Lyn that "happiness will not come knocking by the door, you have to go and grab it...by the neck! Go get him amigo!"
