Recap
Flick telling Tad that he needs him for an alibi for every time she goes out. Joe warning Tad he'd better not hurt Flick. Geri blackmailing Lyn.
Ramsay Street
Lyn asks Geri what sort of blackmailing she's trying to instigate; Geri explains that she'd like free salon treatments in exchange for good press on the university radio. Toadie comes out as Lynnie walks off and asks Geri what's going on. Geri says she has no idea what's up with Lyn.
The Bishops'
Flick comes in and starts talking to Tad until she realises that he's on the phone. He tells her to hang around, then finishes his conversation - apparently it's Coral he's talking to. Felicity tells him that he shouldn't speak to his mother the way he was just then. They sit on the couch and she pulls out a really nice necklace; Tad says that he can appreciate it's nice, but as far as he can tell it's "just sparkly."
Tad asks if it's from Sean, and it is, but Flick needs to pretend that Tad bought it for her.
TAD: Don't you think it's a bit early in our fake relationship to be handing over amazing gifts like that.
Flick agrees, so she decides to hide it in her pocket instead. She asks how it's going with Simone, and Tad says it's good - but Simone's back from holiday soon and he doesn't feel practised enough in kissing to kiss her yet. Flick says that she can't help him anymore.
The Scullys'
Susan comes round to number 26 to see how Michelle is - and she's great! Lyn and Joe offer to have her round to dinner, especially with Karl away. Flick also returns home, and Joe and Lyn wonder what she's been up to - she looks all happy. Susan looks totally stunned that Felicity would be dating Tad.
FLICK: Oh yeah, yeah. We're on together.
JOE: On together?
SUSAN: On together? Gee - I can usually pick 'em but I didn't see this one coming!
The Bishops'
Toadie tells Tad that he got a phone call from Coral today, and she was crying. Tad seems upset at this news. Toadie explains that Coral thinks she's lost her son, and that Coral's been his mum their whole lives. He suggests that Tad should call her, as it would mean a lot.
The Scullys'
Susan goes to leave to go and call Karl but Lyn won't let her - she has to have dessert first. ("The DESERT!") Susan sits back down in a 'do I have to?' way when Lyn looks at her hands and promptly tells her that she needs a manicure. She tells Susan to come to the salon tomorrow.
Flick leaves the table to go make a phone call and Joe sees the necklace in her pocket. She tells her father that Tad bought it for her and saved up for it from her Grease Monkeys money. Joe thinks he robbed a jewellery store.
The Bishops'
Tad is on the phone to Coral and tells her he loves her and doesn't want her to stop calling. Toadie says he did the right thing - perhaps he could call Barry? Tad says maybe tomorrow.
The Scullys'
Flick is up in her dressing gown and comes into the kitchen. Lyn asks her how Tad could afford the necklace, but Felicity wishes she wasn't so suspicious - she can't do anything about his generosity!
The Salon
Joe brings some flowers for Lyn to the salon that he stole from the park - he bought them to soften the blow of telling him that he has a job that his company will do, but they won't be paid for a few weeks. He doesn't want to lose the house in the meantime. Lyn says she can get a part time job for a few weeks, or come clean with her parents for help.
Joe does not like either idea - at all. He says he rarely puts his foot down about anything, but he will over this.
The Bishops'
Flick is telling Tad what happened with the necklace, and that her parents don't believe her. She says they need to get their stories straight, but Tad tells her money from Grease Monkeys wouldn't allow him to buy that piece of jewellery!
There's a knock at the door and it's Simone - she came back from her holiday early. Flick leaves and Tad seems really pleased to see his new love!
The Salon
Susan is having a manicure with Lyn and has her eyes closed in bliss! Lyn stops manicuring as Geri comes onto the radio. Geri's voice-over says that she has a clay mask at the Ansons Corner salon and feels amazing this morning.
Lyn is angry, and Susan asks her if Geri could get Lyn some publicity, too. Lyn explains the blackmail situation and says that she's furious about it. Susan's hand is being massacred by Lyn, so she pulls it away and says they can do this another time. But Lyn insists that she sit back down and carries on massaging her hand - very roughly by the look on Susie's face!
The Bishops'
Tad is all jumpy around Simone and keeps asking if she wants more coffee, and how the holiday was. He seems very uncomfortable with her. Simone asks if he missed her, because she missed him. She moves closer and closer to him until...they kiss!
She pulls away stunned, and Tad says "well?" Aw - bless his little cottons. He thinks she hated it, but no - she doesn't understand where he learned to kiss like that. Forgive me, but it seemed like a very simple run-of-the-mill kiss to me, but what do I know?
SIMONE: Where did you learn to kiss like that?
TAD: I don't know, it's one of my natural talents.
The Coffee Shop where Lynnie is Giving In
Susan and Lynnie turn up at TCS for a drink, where they run into Geri. Lyn approaches Geri and suggests that she might like to come over to the salon and have a look around, and then she could give them some good publicity. Geri says of course - she's always happy to endorse good service. Lyn walks away and Geri looks smug. Ugh.
Ramsay Street
Flick wolf whistles at Tad and Simone who are walking together hand in hand. Tad runs over and tells her it was great, and thanks her, before running back to Simone and going out with her.
Lou's Place
Geri comes up to Susan at the bar and asks if she can pull up a bar stool. Of course, says Susan, who promptly walks away.
She so rocks.
Geri looks put out, and asks Susan if she's done something; Suse says no, but she's not a fan of Geri's radio style. Toadie asks what's going on - that's the second person he's seen walk away from her, and it never seems to be Geri's problem. Toadie suggests that she's not winning any friends on the radio station. But she doesn't care - she only wants ratings so she can retire at thirty.
The Coffee Shop
Simone and Tad are doin' a little kissin' in the corner of TCS, when Joe spies them.
JOE: Oi, oi! What's going on here, Valentino?!
Oooh, I SO don't want to see what happens next. Quick where are the...
