Rosemary has been sent to the pub as an Efficiency Expert.
No.26
Josh tells Jim that he has an idea for a circuit diagram that might be useful for Jim's fuel injection system, so they agree to meet up after school to discuss it.
Helen answers the phone to Adam, who is looking for work, but one of the limousines is under repair. Apparently he sounds very desperate.
Jim bites into his toast and winces - his tooth crown fell off last night. He looks on the window ledge, but to his shock, it has disappeared.
Willises
Pam cuts her fingers and Adam fusses over her - she's clearly very stressed though.
The family worry about Pam studying, nursing and driving a taxi - she might do herself some real damage before long. Cody offers to cook dinner tonight and wishes she could do more to help. Adam says maybe he could sell his car to raise some cash. Cody doesn't think it's worth anything(!)
No.22
Paul's car won't start and blames Christina for not starting it up occasionally while he was away. He's in a bad mood about Rosemary being a spy on his business - he thinks he's going to lose the whole deal because of it. Finally, the car starts.
Paul perks up and dashes inside to give Henson a ring.
Josh's garage
Cody tells Josh and Todd that her birthday party is off but is evasive as to why. Todd and Josh tease her and she gets very irritated. She invites Todd over to watch videos tonight, but he'd rather watch Todd and Jim on the computer(!) Cody stomps off. When she's gone, Todd explains to Josh that he's really working on Cody's present tonight.
No.24
Adam is looking through the job vacancies in the paper with the help of Gemma. One of them is for a stripper(!) Suddenly he sees one for evenings only with own car. He heads off to call them up.
No.26
Jim is searching the bin for his crown which was apparently wrapped in tissue paper. Paul and Christina come in and Paul gets in a few digs about Glen. Then he starts moaning on about Rosemary scuppering the franchise deal. He asks Helen to talk to Rosemary to go a bit easy in her report, but Jim and Helen say they can't take advantage of their family relationship. Paul takes this very personally and storms off.
Willises
Adam is just finishing his phone call and arranging to start work this very evening. Cody stomps in, in a terrible mood. Adam tells her he's got a job in the "service industry" with a few perks too.
The Office
Christina pops in to see Paul who is working late. She's been to see Jim and Helen to explain how much stress Paul is under. He presses the button to tell Melanie to hold all his calls and then they start pashing!
Ramsay Street
Pam is just starting her taxi shift. Doug tells her she's working herself into the ground and says she *must* have the next couple of nights off.
Willises
Cody is on the phone to someone when Doug comes in. She quickly hangs up. Cody tells Doug that she wants to help out and she's been on the phone to Aunty Faye to see if she can help out with money.
DOUG: Oh, hell, she's the last person I want knowing we're in strife!
Apparently Faye was very sympathetic, but she's had a big tax bill lately and can't help. Just then, the phone rings and it's another family member, worried about Doug having been informed by Faye. He tells her that everything's fine and that business is booming.
The Office
Paul and Christina are still being a bit frisky and talkinga bout how little time they've spent together since they've been married. Christina suggests going away to the guesthouse this weekend but Paul says he's got too much going on in Erinsborough. Christina is not impressed and stomps out.
CHRISTINA: Paul, this is not my idea of the way a marriage works!
No.26
Jim is still looking for his crown. Josh and Todd come in and Jim explains about the missing crown. Apparently Josh put it away for safe-keeping in Jim's desk drawer! Jim is pleased to have found it, though frustrated that he's spent the whole day looking through bins!
Helen sees an article in the paper about a new fuel injection system developed in Adelaide. It's Jim's design or near enough.
JIM: Six months' work down the drain!
No.24
Gemma answers the door to Adam who is dressed in a hat. He presents her with a potato. Apparently that's his new job - delivering potatoes for Spike's Spuds. His car has also been decorated and he gets all the free potatoes he wants, so he's enjoying his work!
A road
Pam is driving the taxi - she's missed one pickup and is trying to find the location. She's getting sleepy and starts to nod off. Then she wakes up, screams, and brakes hard.
